Our reason for being
Women’s empowerment and development, along with family advancement, are among the key pillars of cooperatives. These efforts aim to promote women’s participation and growth across various dimensions of social and individual life, including family, workplace, business, economy, and politics.
Raising children, managing household affairs, protecting the environment, efficient use of resources, and energy conservation are all areas directly connected with women. Therefore, empowering women and enabling them to empower others not only contributes to achieving society’s development goals but also leads to the progress and elevation of half of the population.
In other words, “the development of women must be carried out by people, not merely for them. They should be actively involved in the decision-making and processes that shape their lives.”
